Membership Benefits Program
A key project I planned and managed at The Living Desert was the launch of the Membership Benefits program.
Designed to strengthen community ties and express gratitude to supporters by offering reciprocal benefits
with local organizations, including the Children’s Discovery Museum, and exclusive discounts at participating
businesses in the Coachella Valley.
You Are The Solution Wall | Gift Shop Exit
A standout design project I planned and managed at the Zoo was the “You are the Solution Wall.”
An interactive installation near the Gift Shop exit that encourages guests to take simple, impactful
conservation actions and inspires them to become ambassadors for positive environmental change.

The Zoo | Event Planning and Managing
I had the privilege of planning and managing several impactful events at The Living Desert,
including the inaugural Glow with Pride event, which brought together the local LGBTQIA+
community and featured music, entertainment, and collaborations with local organizations.
I also helped organize the "Hotdogs with Heroes," a community event that connected families,
first responders, and local businesses for an afternoon of fun, education, and connection.
Additionally, I organized exclusive members-only experiences such as the morning walking club and
“Coffee and Conservation,” where members could engage directly with our conservation experts and
learn about our global desert conservation efforts. These events were designed to foster community
engagement, raise awareness about conservation, and create memorable experiences for Zoo guests.
