Step 01 - Sketching ideas
Drawing inspiration from Caitlyn Clester's photography on Instagram, I sketched rough logo ideas that embodied her brand, artistry, and personal style. I incorporated elements of her Gemini sign, her narrative art using the human body, and her passion for photography. Together, we reviewed these concepts and selected three designs that resonated most. From there, we chose our favorite and refined it into her final logo.
Step 02 - First round of logo options
In this first round of logo options, I chose playful, curvy fonts to complement Caitlyn Clester's focus on body imagery. This approach was presented for her brand's narrative art style through the camera lens. Some designs incorporate a circular element, symbolizing the camera lens capturing these beautiful forms. This detail could later be adapted into a submark or favicon, adding a cohesive visual element across her brand.
Step 03 - Second round of edits
After presenting the initial logo options, we discussed using a sans-serif font with capitalized letters for 'Caitlyn Clester' to maintain cohesion with her current font choice previously used. Incorporating this feedback, I explored different fonts, layouts, and new ideas. She ultimately preferred a cropped version of the body imagery, which we refined into the final logo designs shown below.
Step 04 - Final Logo options
Through collaboration, we arrived at a final logo design, which I refined and delivered to Caitlyn in horizontal, vertical, and favicon formats for versatile use. Next, we developed a color palette, selecting hues from one of her images to create a cohesive look that resonated with her vision.
